Supervision of Suspended and Expelled Students

Pathway Program
The Pathway Program provides 6 – 12th grade students who are suspended, both long-term and short-term, or expelled from Augusta County, Staunton or Waynesboro City schools the opportunity to continue to be positively engaged during school day hours while they are suspended or expelled from school. This program provides suspended and/or expelled students academic tutoring, group life skill training, and involvement in community service during traditional school day hours.

This program takes place on school days, Monday - Thursday from 8:30-2:30. Friday times will vary depending on community service activities. Parents can drop off and pick-up their child at the Central Shenandoah Valley Office on Youth site in Staunton on Nelson Street, or they can take their child directly to the Pathway site at the Rosenwald Community Center in Waynesboro on Port Republic Road. Students must bring a packed lunch each day. Lunch is not provided. Students must also bring school books, notebooks and class assignments.
