Augusta County and Waynesboro Parks and Recreation Departments have teamed up again to bring you the 6th Annual Park to Park Half Marathon and 2nd Annual Draft 5K! We offer our signature 13.1 mile point to point course connecting Waynesboro’s Ridgeview Park to Augusta County’s Stuarts Draft Park. In addition to the half marathon we also offer our 3.1 mile point to point 5K course starting at Stuart’s Draft Retirement Community and ending at Stuarts Draft Park.

We would love to have you join us to experience the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, our volunteer aid stations, chip timing, race goodies, and the after party!

Race Date: Saturday, April 26th

-Half Marathon start time is 7 a.m.

1st Annual Valley Pickleball Challenge
ACPR will host the 1st Annual Valley Pickleball Challenge. Come join in this one day tournament at Wilson Memorial Middle School and Wilson Memorial Elementary School. Registration fee is $30. Drop format will be used. All online registrants must fill out the registration form in order to determine event preference. Please call or email Scott Martin for more details at .

Fort Defiance Wrestling Camp
The Fort Defiance Wrestling Camp is a week-long day camp that will appeal to the beginner and veteran of the sport. Fort Coach, Gary Kinzer, has 30 years of experience in the sport. He is committed to provide both the novice and seasoned wrestler with the techniques to bring their wrestling skill to a new level. The week long camp will run from 9am-5pm. Each camper will need to bring a lunch. Fee is $75. T-shirt is included in the fee. Camp runs from June 26-30. Register by June 19.


Registration is now open for AIM.  This is a program for beginner cheerleaders. Participants will learn cheers, chants, jumps, leaps, and pom pon routines. See attached flyer for registration.
AIM Cheer Flyer

Registration is now open for AIM Safety Awareness. This is a program for beginners, yellow belts, & orange belts. A certified black belt instructor will teach participants to avoid dangerous situations, walk away from fights & when necessary to defend themselves. See attached flyer for registration details.
Aim Self Defense Flyer

Registration is now open for Karate that will begin on January 21st. Participants will learn proper punches, kicks, blocks, and self-defense techniques under the guidance of Mr. Roger Ramsey and his staff. This program is open to children ages 5-7, 8-12, and 13-Adult. This program meets every Tuesday for six weeks. Future sessions begin on March 11th and April 22nd. Fee is $45 and must be paid at time of registration. Registration for January session ends on January 17th. See attached form for paper registration.
Karate Form

Registration is now open for Pickleball Open Gym that will start on Wednesday, January 15th. Open to players of all ages. Play starts at 6pm at the Augusta County Rec. Center in Fishersville. Players must provide their own paddles. Activity fee is $3. Players must register with Parks & Rec. first.
Pickleball Flyer

Registration is now open for the 36th annual Hershey’s Track & Field Meet. The meet will be held at Wilson Memorial High School Stadium on Thursday, May 8th. Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Open to children ages 9-14. Participants will choose between the softball toss, long jump and various races to compete in. All participants must pre-register. Check with local P.E. teachers for registration forms or see attached registration form below. This event is free of charge.
Hershey's Entry Form

Registration is now open for Adult Soccer that will start on Tuesday, June 10th. This is a Co-Ed league open to players age 14 and up. League play is on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. Teams will play 10 games including a post-season. There will be two divisions. An upper division, open for all competition, and a lower division, for recreation only. Registration fee is $45. All fees must be paid at time of registration. This fee includes a league t-shirt and plaques given to the regular season winner and post-season winner.
Soccer Form

Registration is now open for the Weyers Cave Co-Ed Softball League that will start Monday, April 28. League play is on Monday and Tuesday with Wednesday a make-up day for rain outs. Format of play will consist of two seasons and the two division winners battling for the Ultimate Championship. (Format contingent upon number of registered teams) The registration fee is $400. Fee includes championship plaques, balls, and officials.
