Arts and Crafts programs are arranged to offer the community a variety of opportunities allowing each person to have a good time doing something they enjoy. Augusta County offers a wide range of classes such as basket weaving, drawing, painting, crochet, pottery, knitting, sewing, scrapbooking, stained glass, watercolor and much, much more.

Oil Painting with Christine Smith - $62.00
Complete an oil painting in one sitting with the guidance of accomplished artist Christine Smith in each of these classes. Participants will be given step by step instruction and receive individualized assistance from Christine as paint is applied to the canvas with large brushes and palette knives. Utilizing water-soluble oils, participants will explore the beauty of oil painting without paint thinners and other solvents. Classes are open to the novice, as well as those who want to enhance their painting skills. An example of each painting is on display in the Recreation Office at the County Government Center. Beading Blitz: Bead Stringing Basics - $45.00
