The Parks and Recreation department’s spring 2020 programs have officially opened for registration! The department offers a wide range of programs including trips, fitness and dance, youth activities, and community events. Just a few of the trip options offered this spring include trips to the Cherry Blossom Festival in April, Smith Mountain Lake for a two hour wildlife cruise, the Biltmore in Asheville, karate classes, ballroom dance classes, and kundalini yoga. All of these and more can be browsed in the Spring 2020 Activities Guide which is now available online on the Parks & Recreation page. The Activities Guide will also be mailed out in the next two weeks to all households in Augusta County.

If you are interested in registering for one of the 24 trips offered this spring, make sure to take note that all trips will leave from and return to a new trip departure and return area.  Once you turn off of Route 11 onto Dick Huff Lane, simply continue straight past the Government Center until you see the sign marking the new location on the left side. Parking is also readily available in this area.

Get out and play!
