In order to offer some relief to taxpayers from the economic effects of COVID-19, Augusta County extended the June 2020 real estate tax deadline to June 26.
Payment Instructions:
To reduce the spread of COVID-19, we ask that you use one of the contactless payment methods below:
- Pay online using:
- E-check (no fee)
- Credit/debit card (2.7% convenience fee)
- Pay by check or money order, made payable to County of Augusta
- Mail to Treasurer’s Office, P.O. Box 590, Verona, VA 24482
- Drop off at drop-box or drive-through window
You can also pay your taxes by using an ACH, (Automatic Clearing House) debit from your savings or checking account. You can pay by equal monthly payments on the 3rd of each month or one lump sum. To sign up for this service, please fill out this form, sign and mail it to P.O. Box 590, Verona, VA 24482 with a voided check attached.
