Independent Living Worker (Verona Office) 

$14.13 per hour 10 hours per week

Shenandoah Valley Social Services is seeking an individual to provide services as a part-time Independent Living Coordinator.  The position assists teens in foster care to prepare for adulthood by teaching independent living skills.  The contractor will provide services 10 hours per week.  Requires evening and some weekend hours.

Bachelor's degree in a human services field a plus; related experience with teens preferred.  To be considered for this position, a completed Commonwealth of Virginia Application for Employment (DPT Form 10-012) must be submitted by 12 noon Friday, May 30, 2008 to the Department at P. O. Box 7, Verona, Virginia 24482 (Augusta County Government Center).  Incomplete or late applications will be returned.
