The County of Augusta has an opening for an individual in its Commissioner of Revenue’s Office. This position will perform responsible technical and clerical work in administering a variety of tax functions. The successful candidate must have the ability to deal positively with the public, possess strong oral and written communication skills, must be familiar with Microsoft Office as well as ability to learn user friendly software programs and be able to work as a team member on large projects. A background in accounting/finance/taxation is desired. This position requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and/or college coursework in business oriented curriculum. The County offers an excellent fringe benefit package. Starting salary is $26,621.
