SAW localities release a Request for Information for Opioid Abatement Services

The Community Action Partnership of Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro (CAPSAW) is requesting proposals from community groups and non-profit organizations interested in providing opioid abatement services which would align with funding guidelines. Information is due January 3, 2025.

Dec. 16, 2024 – On behalf of the City of Staunton, Augusta County, and the City of Waynesboro (the SAW region), the Community Action Partnership of Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro (CAPSAW) is soliciting information from community groups and non-profit organizations interested in providing opioid abatement services.

In partnership with the Opioid Abatement Authority (OAA), the localities are pursing funding to support eligible community projects focused on opioid abatement and remediation.

This request for information (RFI) seeks to identify programs and organizations with the capacity to provide services in accordance with the opioid abatement funding guidelines. Information submitted through this process will help shape a subsequent formal request for proposals (RFP).

All information must be received via email at valleycapsaw@gmail.com by 5 p.m. on Jan. 3, 2025.
