The Augusta County Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct Public Hearings at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, January 2, 2025, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia.  The board will consider the following requests:

• A request by Carol Maddox, for a Special Use Permit to continue to operate a day care center and to allow the permit to be transferrable on property owned by Wonder Maddox, LLC, located at 74 Quicks Mill Road, Verona in the Beverley Manor District.

• A request by Teresa Kite, agent for Myers Corner MHP, LLC, for a Special Use Permit to replace a non-conforming manufactured home with a larger unit within a manufactured home park on property they own, located at 20 Freds Lane, Fishersville in the Beverley Manor District.

• A request by Chadwick Bazzrea, for a Special Use Permit to continue the existing excavating business with outdoor storage of equipment, topsoil storage and topsoil sifting, and to have an administrative office for the excavating business and property rental on property owned by Robert M. and Patricia Eavers, located at 17 Romaine Lane, Stuarts Draft in the Riverheads District.

• A request by Norman Spurlock, agent for Old Hickory Buildings, LLC, for a Special Use Permit to have outdoor display and sales of prefab storage buildings on property owned by United Leasing Corp., Etal, located at 7 Hutchwood Lane, Waynesboro in the South River District.
