The Augusta County Board of Supervisors will conduct a Public Hearing during the regular meeting on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 7 p.m., in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to consider the following requests:
- A request to rezone from Limited Business to General Business with proffers approximately 2.692 acres (TMPs 067C2 (8) 2 and 067C2 (8) 4) owned by Boyington Properties, LLC/William C. or Sandra E. McMeans located off Jefferson Highway in Fishersville in the Wayne Magisterial District. The two parcels are located within an Urban Service Overlay District in an Urban Service Area of the Comprehensive Plan and are planned for Business. The applicant is interested in rezoning from Limited Business to General Business with proffers in order to allow for a larger variety of business uses.
- A request to add a Public Use Overlay on approximately 16.122 acres (TMP 067 84F) owned by Bridge Christian Church located off Goose Creek Road at 14 Caldwell Lane in Fishersville in the Wayne Magisterial District. The property is located in a Community Development Area of the Comprehensive Plan and is planned for Low-Density Residential. The applicant seeks to add a Public Use Overlay to the parcel to establish a hybrid program for homeschool students in grades K-5 within the existing church building.
