Under the authority of Gerald Garber, Chair of the Augusta County Board of Supervisors, all county flags will be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of Mark Lotts, Executive Director of Finance and Business for Augusta County Public Schools.

Mr. Lotts tragically passed away in an automobile accident last week. His dedication and contributions to the county’s education system left a lasting impact, and this gesture honors his service to the community.

The county extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

County flags will be lowered today, Monday, March 3, 2025, and remain at half-staff until 8 am on Monday, March 10, 2025.
