The Augusta County Planning Commission will convene for a staff briefing at 4 pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in the Board Conference Room.
The Planning Commission will conduct Public Hearings at 7 pm, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to consider the following:
- A request to rezone from General Agriculture to General Business with proffers approximately 33.11 acres (TMP 077 30D) owned by H2 Holdings LLC located at 494 Three Notched Highway off Route 250 near Afton Mountain in the Wayne Magisterial District. This property is located in a Rural Conservation Area of the Comprehensive Plan and is planned for Agriculture. The applicant intends to renovate an existing structure and construct additional standalone lodging units in a clustered layout, while also enhancing outdoor and natural amenities. The property is currently being used for overnight accommodations and passive recreation.
