Augusta County to Host 2025 Annual Spring Clean-Up Event April 26 - May 3

Safely dispose of automotive waste, car tires, and appliances for free.

Augusta County will hold its annual Spring Clean-Up event from Saturday, April 26 through Saturday, May 3, 2025. Safely dispose of automotive waste, car tires, and appliances for free.

Augusta County will hold its annual Spring Clean-Up event from Saturday, April 26 through Saturday, May 3, 2025. Spring Clean-Up is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of waste items, car tires, and large appliances for free. 

The Augusta Regional Landfill will accept the following items:

  • Automotive Waste – Motor oil, transmission oil, hydraulic oil, diesel fuel, lead-acid batteries, and antifreeze. 
    Gasoline or other hazardous materials will not be accepted.
  • Free Tire Disposal – 6 car tire limit per household (passenger vehicle only)
    Fees will not be waived from commercial/agricultural vehicles or equipment. 
    Tires from businesses or tires being hauled for a fee will not be accepted.
  • Freon-Bearing Appliances: 2 appliances per household
  • Appliance Disposal Locations – Augusta Regional Landfill and dumpster locations: Augusta Springs, Crimora, Deerfield (Community Center), Greenville, Middlebrook (near the Post Office) Mt. Solon and New Hope – no fees.

Local Ruritan clubs will be providing assistance to help make the operations at various locations go smoothly. Contact your local Ruritan club for more information.
