The Augusta County Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct Public Hearings at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 1, 2025, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia. The board will consider the following requests:

A request by Caroline Nesbit, agent for Working House, LC, for a Special Use Permit to have a special event facility, an educational day camp for up to twenty-five (25) students for four (4) weeks in the summer, and to have a primitive campground on property they own, located at 229 Palmer Mill Lane, Staunton in the Pastures District.

Root, Trustee of, located east of Lee Highway (Route 11), south of the intersection of Lee Highway (Route 11) and Bolivar Street in the North River District.

A request by Kathleen B. Mahanes, for a Special Use Permit to have a short term rental on property she owns, located at 424 Balsley Road, Staunton in the Beverley Manor District. A request by Roy Lopez, agent for El Puerto Restaurant, for a Special Use Permit to have outdoor storage of a food trailer and grill on property owned by William G. Bibb, located at 2406 Jefferson Highway, Waynesboro in the Wayne District.
