Augusta County invites residents, business owners, and community members to attend one of five upcoming community meetings to review the draft of the Comprehensive Plan and share feedback. Augusta County is seeking public input to help refine the draft before final adoption in the fall.

The meetings will be held at various locations across the county to ensure convenient access for all. Community members are encouraged to attend one of the meetings.

Meeting Schedule (all meetings will be held from 5 to 7 pm):

  • Monday, July 28, 2025 – Riverheads Middle School (240 Don Hanger Circle)

  • Wednesday, July 30 – Wilson Middle School (232 Hornet Road)

  • Thursday, July 31 – Stuarts Draft Middle School (1088 Augusta Farms Rd)

  • Tuesday, August 5 – Blue Ridge Community College, Plecker Auditorium (Bldg P)

  • Thursday, August 14 – Buffalo Gap Middle School (1770 Buffalo Gap Hwy)

Each community meeting will feature a presentation-style format, followed by a question-and-answer session. Attendees will also be able to review the draft plan and submit feedback online during the event.

For those who cannot attend in person or prefer to provide feedback later, the feedback survey will be available online beginning July 21 at: www.AugustaCountyVA.gov/compplan

The Comprehensive Plan draft reflects input received through community meetings held in the fall of 2023, an online survey, guidance from the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and contributions from County boards, commissions, and other key stakeholders.

Your voice is essential in shaping Augusta County’s future. We hope you’ll take part in this important process by reviewing the draft plan, attending a meeting, and sharing your input in the online survey.
