The Augusta County Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing at 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and the Augusta County Board of Supervisors will conduct a
Public Hearing at 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2025, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to
consider the following:
- Comprehensive Plan – Pursuant to §15.2-2223 of the Code of Virginia, review and recommendation for adoption of a revised Augusta County Comprehensive Plan. The proposed Augusta County 2025-2045 Comprehensive Plan draft includes chapters regarding agriculture, economy, community facilities and services, public education, land use and growth management, environment, energy, housing, public safety, and transportation. The revision also includes proposed changes to the future land uses and planning policy areas within the Augusta County Future Land Use Map.
