ELIGIBILITY WORKER Salary $29,384

Duties and Responsibilities: Determines eligibility for public assistance programs, i.e. Food Stamps, TANF, Medicaid. Interviews applicants for assistance to determine eligibility, securing and verifying financial, social or medical information. Manages cases; maintains records and files; prepares reports. Detects fraud and makes appropriate referrals to investigation/enforcement personnel. Ability to organize work schedule, manage workload and meet deadlines essential. Basic computer knowledge is preferred. Bilingual skills preferred, but not required.
