We operate under our core value of “One Department, One Family,” and we have an amazing group of men and women that exemplify our mission, vision, values, and standards.  It is humbling and a true honor to lead and to work alongside such an outstanding group of first responders.

In recognition of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (April 12–18, 2026), local businesses, schools, and community organizations are invited to take part in a meaningful opportunity to support and recognize the very first responders in an emergency—our 9-1-1 dispatchers in the Emergency Communications Center.

These dedicated professionals are the calm, steady presence on the line during some of life’s most critical moments. They answer the calls, coordinate help, and provide life-saving support to our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Through the Adopt a Dispatcher program, our community can show appreciation in simple and impactful ways. Whether it’s a handwritten note, small gift, or gesture of gratitude, your participation helps remind dispatchers that their work does not go unnoticed.
