Augusta County will hold its annual Spring Clean-Up event from Saturday, April 25 through Saturday, May 2, 2026. Spring Clean-Up is an opportunity for residents to safely dispose of waste items, car tires, and large appliances for free.
The Augusta Regional Landfill is open Monday through Saturday between 8am and 4:15pm.
Accepted Items
The Augusta Regional Landfill will accept the following items with all fees waived:
- 6 passenger vehicle tires

Fees will not be waived from commercial/agricultural vehicles or equipment.
- Tires from businesses or tires being hauled for a fee will not be accepted.
- 2 Freon-bearing appliances
- Automotive waste: motor oil, transmission oil, diesel fuel, and antifreeze. Gasoline or other hazardous materials will not be accepted.

Convenience Sites and Community Centers
Appliances & bulky items will be accepted at the following convenience sites and community centers:
- Crimora, Mt. Solon, New Hope, & Deerfield Community Center
Bulky items will be accepted at the following convenience sites and community:
- Augusta Springs, Greenville, & Middlebrook (near the Middlebrook Library)
