Augusta County has published the recommended budget for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27), outlining key priorities and financial plans for the upcoming year. Residents are encouraged to review the budget documents on the budget page.
The FY27 Recommended Budget and the Five-Year Plan will serve as the foundation for discussions during the Board of Supervisors' budget work session, scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026, at 8:30 am. Community members can observe the session by accessing a video meeting link available on the agenda for the meeting on the county's meetings and agenda page.
Amendments to the recommended budget discussed during the work session will be incorporated into a Board-proposed budget. The proposed budget will be published for review ahead of the Budget and Tax Rate Public Hearings, set for a special meeting on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 7pm in the Main Boardroom.
Adoption of the budget by the Board of Supervisors is anticipated for their regular meeting on Wednesday, April 22, at 7pm.
