Submit your form and high mileage documentation by mail or in person with your personal property filing return.

Bring your vehicle to the Government Center in Verona for a visual inspection.
The Commissioner of the Revenue can inspect your vehicle Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. Inspections will also be offered during several community events.

In 2025, Commissioner of the Revenue George Price launched this High Mileage Adjustment Program in accordance with Section 58.1-3503(A)(3) of the Code of Virginia. Any individual or business that owned personal property located in Augusta County on January 1, 2026, should receive a Personal Property Tax statement in the mail. Return your verified or corrected personal property statement on or before May 1, 2026.
