The Augusta County Board of Supervisors will conduct Public Hearings during the regular meeting on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 7 p.m., in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to consider the following:

A request to rezone from General Agriculture and General Business to Planned Unit Development approximately 60.593 acres [TMP 067B (3) 14, owned by Simpkins Samuel L. et. al; TMPs 067B (3) 17, 067B (3) 17B, and 067B (3) 17C, owned by William K. Orr Trust ½ Lois G. Orr Trust] located southeast of the intersection of Tinkling Spring Road (Rte. 285) and Jefferson Highway (Rte. 250) in Fishersville in the Wayne Magisterial District. The Master Plan depicts connections to the proposed subdivision from First Street (Rte. 1301), Jefferson Highway, and Orr Drive (to be upgraded to a public roadway), and includes three (3) commercial outparcels. The properties included in the request are located within an Urban Service Area of the  Comprehensive Plan, and are planned for Medium Density Residential and Business.
