The Augusta County Planning Commission will convene for a staff briefing at 5 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Board Conference Room.
The Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at 7 pm, Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to consider the following:
- A request to amend the Public Use Overlay on approximately 27.466 acres (TMP 046A2 (1) 2) owned by County of Augusta located on the north side of Technology Drive (Rte. 9503) in Verona in the Beverley Manor District. The property is located in an Urban Service Area of the Comprehensive Plan and is planned for Public Use. The amendment would add “public safety training facilities” to the list of additional permitted uses on the property.
