The Augusta County Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office and Treasurer’s Office will have temporary closures this month as staff prepare for the transition to Avenity, a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system designed specifically for state and local tax administration.

The Commissioner of the Revenue's office will be closed:
• Wednesday, August 12
• Thursday, August 13
• Friday, August 21

The Treasurer's office will be closed:
• Monday, August 17 through Friday, August 21

Important for Treasurer’s Office customers:

The Treasurer’s Office will terminate its current online payment options on Thursday, August 13, in preparation for the move to the new system.

These closures will allow staff to participate in Avenity training and prepare for the upcoming systems transition. The new system is designed around the tax laws and requirements specific to local government commissioner of revenue and treasurer offices.
