The Augusta County Planning Commission will convene for a staff briefing at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in the Board Conference Room.
The Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2026, in the Board Meeting Room, Augusta County Government Center, 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, Virginia, to consider the following:
- REZ-26-0014 – A request to rezone from General Business with proffers to Multifamily Residential approximately 5.02 acres (TMP 066E (8) 3 & 066E (8) 4) owned by Acend 2002 LLC and located on the south side of Beam Lane (Rte. 1180), across from UVA Medical Park – Augusta in Fishersville in the Beverley Manor Magisterial District. The parcels included in the request are located in an Urban Service Area of the Comprehensive Plan, and are planned for Business. The applicant intends to construct approximately 100 dwelling units in three (3) multifamily structures, and an additional
structure for assisted living services.
- REZ-26-0015 – A request to rezone from General Agriculture to Single Family Residential approximately 13.08 acres (TMP 065 72A, 065 27A, & 065 27D) owned by Young Real Estate, Inc, & Knapp Construction LLC and located off Fauber Lane (Rte. 1428) and Barterbrook Road (Rte. 635) in Jolivue in the Beverley Manor Magisterial District. The parcels included in the request are located in an Urban Service Area of the Comprehensive Plan, and are planned for Medium Density Residential. The purpose of the rezoning is to develop approximately 28 single-family detached residential lots.
