About the Commission

The Agriculture/Forestal Advisory Committee reviews applications for the formulation of Agricultural/Forestal Districts and makes their recommendations to the Board of Supervisors.

The Committee is made up of the following:

1. Four (4) landowners who are engaged in agriculture or forestal production.
2. Four (4) other landowners of Augusta County.
3. Either the Commissioner of the Revenue or Augusta County's Chief Property Assessment Officer.
4. One member of the Board of Supervisors.

The Committee meets when they have pending applications.
