The County of Augusta is sensitive to the need to involve persons from as many segments of society as possible in the policy making and administrative functions of local government. The County seeks to ensure that there will be opportunities for broad citizen participation in local government on the basis of merit and fitness as ascertained through fair and practical methods of recruitment and selection. The Board of Supervisors is interested in seeking candidates for appointment to Boards and Commissions. On file at the County Administrator’s Office and the Augusta County Public Library is a summary of County Boards and Commissions and applications for interested citizens.

Citizens interested in learning more about serving on a County Board or Commission or wish to know Boards or Commissions representatives, you may contact the County Administrator’s office or your Magisterial District Supervisor.
