Governor Northam and the Augusta County Board of Supervisors have declared a State of Emergency related to the COVID-19 virus.  Public access to the Government Center has been restricted to essential business.   

Estimated State Income Tax returns are due May 1.  Please use one of the return methods listed below.

  1. Return by mail.  Commissioner of the Revenue, P.O. Box 959, Verona, VA  24482.
  2. Drop box located in front of the Building close to the drive through window
  3. Drop off at the drive through window. 

The Commissioner of the Revenue is responsible for receiving and processing the initial estimated tax payment for Augusta County residents.

The filing deadline for the first estimated income tax payment is May 1.

Where do I mail my return if I live in Augusta County?

Form 760ES Voucher 1 and payment made payable to the Augusta County Treasurer should be mailed to:

Verona, Va 24482

The remaining estimated payments made payable to the Augusta County Treasurer are due June 15, September 15 and January 15 and should be mailed to:
Augusta County Treasurer
P O Box 590
Verona, Va 24482
