Augusta County Proclaimed a "Stroke Smart County," Joining Regional Effort to Combat Stroke
Augusta County has officially been designated a "Stroke Smart County," solidifying its commitment to raising stroke awareness and improving patient outcomes. The Stroke Smart initiative underscores the importance of rapid recognition and response to stroke symptoms, emphasizing that "time is brain."

4pm Burning Law in Effect February 15
In effect from February 15 through April 30, the 4pm Burning Law bans open air burning prior to 4pm and includes common activities such as bonfires, firepits, and leaf burning.
