The Augusta County Sheriff's Office takes all complaints seriously regarding the service provided by the Office and the conduct of its members. The Office will accept and address all complaints of misconduct in accordance with Sheriff's Office policy and applicable federal, state and local law and municipal and county rules. It is also the policy of this office to ensure that the community can report misconduct without concern for reprisal or retaliation.

Personnel complaint forms are maintained in a clearly visible location in the public area of the Sheriff's Office and are downloadable on the Sheriff’s Office website.

Completed forms should be turned in to a member of the Sheriff's Office staff.
