Family Services Specialist II - Foster Care
Job Description: This is primarily a case management position that performs responsible professional work in the support and assistance of County and City residents involved in the child welfare system. General responsibilities include following case management requirements, conducting assessments, providing referrals for community based services, placing and monitoring children in resource homes, participating and testifying in legal proceedings, completing monthly visits with foster children, maintaining case records, participating in treatment team, family partnership, and case planning meetings, ensuring independent living skills development is provided to age-appropriate foster children, recruiting adoption families for waiting foster children with the goal of adoption, preparing foster children for adoption, completing the adoption process, providing post adoption services and record maintenance, completion of financial paperwork to ensure accurate and timely payments
Hiring Range: Full Time (Salaried) $40,693 (may be higher depending on qualifications)
