How to Reserve a Facility 

• Shelter reservations begin on March 1, 2026 for dates between April 1 and November 1, 2026.
• Reservations can be made online or through the Parks and Recreation Office at the Augusta County Government Center in Verona. The phone number is 540-245-5727 and address is 18 Government Center Lane, Verona, VA 24482.
• Full payment of rental fee is due at the time of reservation.
• Rental fee provides day long rental from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m., unless otherwise stated.
• A confirmation letter with shelter policies and procedures will be emailed upon payment.

Cancellation Policy & Refunds

• Should cancellation be made at least 2 weeks prior to date of reservation a $10 per facility cancellation fee will be deducted and the balance will be refunded. Any reservation cancelled less than 2 weeks from rental date will not receive a refund.
• Any requests for a refund due to an emergency, illness, death, etc. must be received in writing on the Refund Appeal Form for review within 5 business days of cancellation date.  Note, the $10 cancellation fee will still apply.
• Requests to transfer the reservation to another available date will be honored up to 2 weeks in advance. Any change to the original reservation with less than 2 weeks' notice will incur a $10 transfer fee.
